'Masters of the Baton' - Poznan Concert
April 14, 2011
Christopher recently returned from a week in Poland where he conducted the Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra as part of their 'Masters of the Baton' concert series. On Friday 8 April eager concert-goers at the Adam Mickiewicz University Concert Hall were regaled with a diverse programme which set Stravinsky alongside classical masterpieces by Haydn and Mozart.

Earlier that week Christopher took part in a question-and-answer session which was attended by several hundred students from the Academy of Music and the University. This spilled over into evening drinking and talking in the local boutique brewery (see photos below). For Christopher's Polish followers, extracts from the week are available for listening on Radio Mercury.
